Pendam Bangun 5 Jamban, Dukung Program 1 Juta jamban

Dalam rangka mendukung dan mensukseskan Program Karya Bakti TNI “Pembangunan 1 Juta Jamban”, sejak Selasa, (4/8/2015), Pendam II/Swj membangun 5 Jamban bagi keluarga miskin yang belum memiliki jamban yang berlokasi di Desa Sungai Hitam, Kelurahan, Siring Agung, Kecamatan Ilir Barat Satu, Palembang.

Tujuan karya bakti TNI pembuatan jamban adalah untuk membantu tugas pemerintah daerah dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat dan sekaligus memotivasi masyarakat dalam menjaga kesehatan lingkungan. Karya bakti TNI pembuatan jamban ini dilaksanakan dengan cara gotong royong dan melibatkan semua pihak, khususnya masyarakat setempat.

Kapendam II/Swj Kolonel Arh Syaepul Mukti Ginanjar, S.I.P., berharap program ini berjalan dengan sukses demi membantu mensejahterakan masyarakat dibidang kesehatan, khususnya warga masyarakat yang belum memiliki jamban. “Saya berharap semoga dalam pembangunan Jamban ini tidak ada kendala apapun dan dapat selesai secepatnya agar dapat segera digunakan oleh masyarakat”, ujarnya.

“Dengan pembangunan jamban ini diharapkan tidak ada lagi masyarakat yang membuang hajat (BAB) sembarangan, karena dapat menimbulkan berbagai penyakit,” tandas Syaepul.

Ditambahkan oleh Syaepul bahwa pembangunan pembuatan 5 buah Jamban yang dilaksanakan Pendam II/Swj adalah bagian dalam rangka mensukseskan Program TNI AD membangun 1 Juta jamban dan sekaligus sebagai salah satu program Serbuan Teritorial yang di laksanakan oleh TNI AD. Selain itu, karya bakti TNI ini juga sebagai salah satu sarana untuk lebih mendekatkan diri dengan rakyat, sehingga kemanunggalan TNI-Rakyat akan tetap terjalin dengan baik.

Sejak minggu lalu Pendam II/Swj telah menyelesaikan 3 Jamban, yang berada di Desa Sungai Hitam, Kelurahan Siring Agung, Kecamatan Ilir Barat Satu, Palembang.

“Sudah 3 Jamban yang sudah kita selesaikan kondisinya 100%, kesemuanya dibuat di rumah-rumah masyarakat yang berlokasi di Desa yang sama, kami bergotong royong dengan warga warga masyarakat setempat,” ujar Kapten Inf Umar Hadi sebagai Koordinator Lapangan.
