Kedatangan Tim asistensi Dispenad yang baru pertama kali berkunjung ke jajaran Pendam II/Swj ini, disambut langsung oleh Kapendam II/Swj Kolonel Arh Syaepul Mukti Ginanjar, S.I.P., Waka Pendam II/Swj Letnan Kolonel Inf Drs. Paiman, para Kasi/Kaur/Paur, Bintara, Tamtama, serta PNS Pendam II/Swj.
Kegiatan Asistensi ini merupakan upaya Dispenad untuk mengetahui lebih jauh tentang kegiatan dan peranan Pendam II/Swj dan Penrem jajaran Kodam II/Swj dalam melaksanakan tugas pokoknya memberikan informasi tentang kegiatan TNI AD diwilayahnya.
Dikatakan Kolonel Czi Andi, bahwa kunjungan Tim Asistensi/Supervisi Dispenad di lingkungan Pendam II/Swj adalah fokus asistensi untuk mendapatkan data masukan tentang pelaksaanaan fungsi penerangan serta optimalisasi organisasi dan tugas Penerangan.
Kolonel Czi Andi mengharapkan personel penerangan mampu mengikuti perkembangan zaman yang dari waktu ke waktu mengalami perubahan yang sangat cepat. “Personel penerangan harus tahu dengan teknologi informasi dan mampu memanfaatkannya untuk mendukung tugas penerangan.
Karena Penerangan itu sifatnya sangat strategis, menurut Kolonel Andi, mau tidak mau, suka tidak suka personel penerangan harus melaksanakan tugasnya secara maksimal. Artinya satuan kita (Penerangan) sangat diperlukan. “Kegiatan yang tidak terpublikasi itu tidak ada apa-apanya. “Harapan saya orang-orang Penerangan harus bagus,” tandas Kolonel Andi.
“Untuk meningkatkan Sumber Daya manusia (SDM) Penerangan dalam melaksanakan tugas pokoknya, Dispenad berupaya dengan mengadakan kursus/penataran dan pelatihan berupa pemberian pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang berkaitan dengan tugas penerangan,” terang Andi. (rel)
