Dari informasi yang dihimpun pengerukan yang akan dilakukan direncanakan sepanjang 29 km, namun masih terkendala oleh pemukiman rumah warga yang berdiri tepat dibantaran sungai.
Bahkan era pemerintahan Ir. H. Amirudin Ineod hingga dua periode rencana pengerukan pada lokasi sungai tersebut, tetapi entah mengapa hingga sekarang belum dilakukan, jika memang benar akan dilajuian pengerukan untuk itu Aktivis sekaligus koordinator penjaga sungai PU Pengairan Banyuasin mendesak Bupati Banyuasin segera melakukan relokasi masyarakat yang ada dikawasan tersebut.
“Kalau tidak ada halangan kemungkinan pengerukan sungai dilakukan pada bulan maret atau bulan april 2016. Pengerukan sendiri dilakukan oleh PU Pengairan Propinsi yang didanai oleh pemerintah pusat”, terang Abusali yabg merupakan Aktivis Banyuasin sekaligus koordinator Penjaga Sungai di PU Pengairan Banyuasin kepada wartawan (30/11).
Abusali menambahkan, terdapat beberapa titik pengerukan untuk menghidupkan kembali geliat perekonomian air di Banyuasin ini. “Adapun sungai yang mendapat pengerukan yaitu Sungai Bom Berlian, Sungai Napal, Sungai Manggus, Sungai seterio sampai Ke Muara Ibul Kecamatan Pulau rimau. Sepanjang 29 KM. Dengan di optimalisaśikannya sungai bom berlian ini kedepan akan mempermudah akses perekonomian jalur perairan yang selama ini mati”, imbuhnya.
Masih kata dia, rencana positif ini bukan hanya membuka dan mengoptimalisasi air saja, tapi di sungai Bom ini akan dibangun juga dermaga. “Selain dilakukan pengerukan sungai bom berliān ini akan kembali di bangun dermaga untuk bersandarnya para kapal-kapal pedagang baik dari Sungsang, Kualo Puntian, Pulau Rimau, dan Kepulauan Bangka”, ujarnya.
Namun disayangkan rencana pengerukan ini tampaknya akan mendapat kendala dilapangan karena banyak rumah-rumah permukiman warga dibantaran sungai yang konon merupakan lokasi bekas dermaga.
Dengan begitu Abusali meminta kepada Bupati Banyuasin Yan Anton Ferdian untuk mencari solusi dan segera merelokasi warga ketempat yang lebih nyaman bersama keluarganya.
“Saya sebenarnya sangat senang sekali akan ada pengerukan sungai ini, setidaknya adanya pengerukan sungai yang mendangkal akan kembali dalam dan bisa berfungsi sebagai dermaga sehingga semua kapal laut dan para nelayan bisa masuk membawa hasil tangkapan mereka.
Abusali menambahkan, disayangkan dikawasan tersebut sudah banyak rumah-rumah warga, otomatis bisa menghambat pengerukan. Saya meminta kepada Bupati Banyuasin dalam waktu yang yang secepatnya segera merelokasi warga, karena rencana relokasi itu sudah ada sejak pemerintahan Ir. Amirudin Inoed, tetapi hingga sekarang belum terlaksana, sekarang saya meminta kepada anaknya (Yan Anton Ferdian) untuk melanjutkan perjuangan bapaknya (Ir. H.Amirudin Ineod)”, tandasnya.(waluyo)
